About this Website

I started this site for a simple reason: I like to write and I like sharing the things I write.

As you may have noticed, this website is a lot like a blog. Except you need to sign in to read anything. That's on purpose.

I wanted a place to share my stories and poetry where I could publish quickly (to keep myself motivated). But I also didn't want to throw my writings willy-nilly to the wind. I needed at least a bit of protection for my work, which is why you have to sign in to read. It's totally free (though I may add a paid tier at some point for more exclusive writing). Signing in just proves that you are a human (hopefully) who cares enough about reading my stuff that you'll take an extra 10 seconds to type in your email before getting to the good stuff.

I'm at the point in my writing career that I don't want to make "a brand". I don't want to make a newsletter. I don't want to compete against established authors or AI "writing" mills. I just want to write. And I want to share that writing--both the writing process and the finished work--with family, friends, and any other readers I can pick up along the way.
